TUESDAY, MAY 4, 12:00 – 1:00 PM

What policies at the current Texas Legislative Session promote postsecondary access and success for first generation students? Join this session to learn about Breakthrough’s current advocacy and policy approach and dive into a student and practitioner-centered examination of one current policy opportunity.

In Central Texas, only 8% of middle schoolers from low-income communities go on to earn a college degree of any kind. How can we work together to move the needle? The Breakthrough Honor Roll is offering three free, virtual programs featuring education experts as well as first-generation college graduates. Attend one session or all three and learn about the ways Breakthrough is promoting education as a path to a more equitable Central Texas.

What’s the Honor Roll?

The Breakthrough Honor Roll is a community of individuals and families that help ensure children from low-income Central Texas communities have the opportunity to realize their dreams of becoming the first in their families to earn a college degree.  Learn more.
Join the Honor Roll today and attend the Spring Membership Social on May 13th celebrating Breakthrough graduates realizing their college dreams.
