Last Monday, a group of 10th grade Breakthrough students had the opportunity to participate in a career day at Bazaarvoice, a technology company in Austin. As part of its $25,000 grant to Breakthrough, the Bazaarvoice Foundation generously offers an entire day at the company’s headquarters to show students what it’s like to work in the tech industry.
Students learned about Bazaarvoice and the amazing technology it uses to help online merchants and consumers. After hearing about the company and its global growth, the students were split into four groups to learn more about different professions in the technology sector: marketing, research and development (R&D), sales and product.
