12th Grade College Application Institute Presentations of Learning

The College Application Institute helps our 12th graders prepare college applications, essays, and resumes, in addition to familiarizing themselves with the financial aid process.  At the end of the program, students participate in "mock college interviews" with community members to practice their professional communication skills, vocalize their educational aspirations, and get to know their dream institutions. We are specifically recruiting counselors, college admission or university personnel, scholarship program representatives, college application coaches or others with similar experience.

AISD 11th Grade Presentations of Learning

11th grade students spend their summers branching out with activities like volunteer projects, internships and camps that will build their college resumes. At the end of the summer, students will present their experiences, what they learned, and how it will help them on their journey to college, to a panel that will provide feedback on their presentation skills.

Future Focus Presentations of Learning

Future Focus is a collaborative internship program for Breakthrough and KIPP Collegiate high school graduates to gain invaluable professional experience through paid internships at businesses in the Austin area. At the conclusion of these internships, students will give presentations on what the experience taught them to a panel of volunteers.
