A group of 51 Breakthrough sophomores and juniors from our Austin and Manor cohorts gathered last Saturday to learn about all the UT Austin college experience has to offer.. Students met with admission officers to learn more about the college application process and even received tours based on student interests. Students had an opportunity to hear from a college panel, where Breakthrough college students attending UT Austin, including two of our very own AmeriCorps members, spoke about their shared experiences on campus and their paths to college.
A special thanks to UT Austin for hosting our students throughout the year and opening their doors to our middle school students every summer!
