Last night, nearly 400 guests were moved by an incredible line up of speakers who care about our students, including Breakthrough advocates Mayor Steve Adler, Maya Smart, Hector Ruiz, Breakthrough college graduate Felicia Monroe, and keynote speaker, Chancellor William H. McRaven of the UT System.

We are so grateful to everyone who was able to join us last night for Breakthrough’s Beat the Odds Benefit presented by Lifesize. Together we raised more than $200,000 in sponsorships and ticket sales. 

Maya Smart challenged guests to raise an additional $100,000 by the end of the night and offered a personal gift of $25,000 to help us get there.  We were able to raise $71,000 toward that goal, but still have $29,000 to go.
